What happens if there is bad weather? Our bell tents and emperor tent are designed for UK weather and are waterproof and wind‑resistant when correctly pitched. In very severe weather we’ll discuss safety options with you, including possible rescheduling where appropriate.
How does booking work? Send us an enquiry and we will get back to you with a quote. If you are happy with the quote, we will request a 25% deposit and the remaining payment 6 weeks before the booking.
Can I create a bespoke package? Yes, absolutely! Please do reach out to us with your specific request and we will help create a bespoke package for you.
Can I have the tents for more than one night? Yes. Multi‑night hires are available. Please tell us your dates when you enquire and we’ll quote accordingly..
How much space do I need for a tent? You need space for the tent footprint plus guy ropes. As a rule of thumb, add about 1–1.5m around the edge of the tent. For example, a 5m bell tent needs roughly a 7–8m x 7–8m clear area. We’ll confirm exact space requirements for your site.
What tents do you hire? We hire 4m and 5m bell tents. Bell tents are ideal for glamping, festivals and small groups.
What areas do you cover? We primarily cover West Yorkshire and surrounding counties. For locations further away, please contact us for availability and any additional delivery charges.
Do you deliver and set up the tents? Yes. We deliver, pitch and set up the tents at your venue or garden, and collect them afterwards. You just turn up and enjoy.
Do I need to clean the tents before you collect them? Please leave the tents tidy, remove your personal belongings and rubbish, and leave bedding as instructed in your pre‑event info. We handle the main cleaning and maintenance between hires.
What about toilets and washing facilities? Toilets and showers are not included with the tent hire. Please ensure your site has these facilities for your event.
What’s the difference between furnished and unfurnished? Furnished: tent comes with beds/mattresses, full bedding, mirror, rugs, power pack, deck chairs and decorations – ready to use as a glamping or party space. Unfurnished: tent is delivered and pitched but empty inside; you provide your own beds, bedding and furniture.
What surface can you pitch on? We need flat, clear ground – ideally grass or firm soil. We can often pitch on fields, gardens and some event sites. Hard surfaces, steep slopes or heavily wooded areas may not be suitable.
How does the hire period work? Our standard hire is “overnight”: we set up before your event and collect the next day. Exact delivery and collection times depend on your location and event schedule and will be confirmed in your booking.
Are fire pits, BBQs or heaters allowed inside the tents? No. For safety, naked flames, BBQs and gas heaters must not be used inside the tents due to fire and carbon monoxide risk.
